Robert A. Mounsey, MD, FRCS(C), FACS, obtained his undergraduate and medical education at the University of Toronto, where he also completed his residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery following a medical internship at the University of Western Ontario. As a testament to his academic excellence, Dr. Mounsey earned the prestigious resident award given to the most outstanding resident during the final year of his residency. In order to continue providing his patients with quality medical care, Dr. Mounsey regularly participates in continuing education seminars. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Mounsey is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He maintains memberships with many professional associations, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, the Ontario Medical Association, the Canadian Medical Association and the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
